Viswanath (Rajnikanth), a famous lawyer, stays with his widowed mother (Vijayakumari) and physically handicapped sister (Uma). He sends Jegan, a rich magnate's son (Sathyaraj) and Lokaiya, two criminals to jail on the charge of rape and murder of an innocent girl.
