Deepu's five sisters love him dearly and they choose Priya to be his bride. Deepu happily gets married to her. However, soon, Deepu discovers that Priya is abnormal.

Vishnu, a teacher, gets transferred to a distant village. Vishnu's son passes away in an accident. Vishnu decides to hide this news from his wife, who is in prison, till she is released.

Nandan (Shankar) an introverted singer from a poor background falls in love with Devi (Urvashi). Their friends Sunny (Mohanlal) and his girlfriend Thara (Geetha) are quite the opposite and are extremely outgoing. When Devi's parents do not approve of her relationship with Nandan, they try to force her into an arranged marriage. Sunny and their other friends decide to help the couple elope. However things go awry when Sunny & Vinod (Jagathy) meet with a horrific accident.

With the obligation of marrying off her three daughters, a brave mother does her best to find a responsible partner for them.

Four struggling young men - Dileep (Dileep), Sabu (Nadirsha), Balan (Harisree Asokan) & Appu (Indrans) - who were big fans of movie actress Khushboo (Khushboo) finally get a chance to meet & befriend her when she moves into the mansion next door & through her, Dileep also gets a chance to star in a movie.
