   Syariah law in Singapore today helps to resolve cases, covering different aspects of marriage, divorces, ancillary matters, custody and inheritance for the Muslim community. However, many will instead relate the Syariah law and court as messy, complex, complicated and emotionally draining; a long and tedious process that may impact the children. And because the issues discussed are sensitive, many tend to shy away from sharing their understanding or misunderstanding of the court and its process.
