Max Landis (born August 3, 1985) is an American screenwriter, director, producer, and comic book writer who wrote the films Chronicle, American Ultra, Victor Frankenstein, and Bright, as well as a variety of short films including The Death and Return of Superman and Wrestling Isn't Wrestling.
