Leslie Ann Stefanson (born May 10, 1971) is an American actress. She is most known for playing the title role as Capt. Elisabeth Campbell in the film The General's Daughter. Stefanson was born in Fargo, Cass County, North Dakota and raised in Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota. She is currently engaged, as of 2008, to fellow actor James Spader of The Practice and Boston Legal. On August 31, 2008, she gave birth to her first child, a son by James Spader.
