A native of Zagreb and a graduate of the Zagreb Art Academy, Kaloper made her screen debut in the 1965 film Kljuc, lacking any previous acting experience. She made a good impression and continued to appear in films, including the 1969 drama Handcuffs. She is best known internationally for her role of a sexually liberated woman
