Guido Alberti was an independently wealthy industrialist, whose father had built a nougat and wine business of which Guido became chairman of the board in the 1950's. He grew interested in acting and, after his official debut in Fellini's 8 1/2, grew more and more in demand through the cycles of the Italian film business. He even found himself cast in a few American productions such as BOBBY DEERFIELD and SAVING GRACE. He married a famous astrologer Lucia Alberti who died the year before him in

Cigarette smugglers in Naples run into problems with cocaine operations being set up by a rival smuggler. Full of violence, including a women's face being burned off with a blow torch and a graphic rape scene.

Luigi "Chinaman" Maietto escapes from prison. As soon as he is free he assigns immediately two henchman to murder the inspector whose testimonial once led to his prison sentence. Inspector Tanzi is left for dead but survives. The local newspapers cover up for him and pretend the assassination had succeeded. When Tanzi gets better, his superior wants him to hide in Switzerland. But Tanzi defies him because he intends to make sure himself that Maietto is put back in prison. He goes for it.
