1957 yilinda Istanbul'da dogdu. Istanbul Belediye Konservatuari Tiyatro Bölümünü bitirdi. 1975-1984 yillari arasinda Kenter Tiyatrosu, Tef Kabare Tiyatrosu, Dormen Tiyatrosu ve San Müzikholü’nde çesitli oyunlarda oynadi. Selamsiz Bandosu ve Muhsin Bey (1987) adli filmlerdeki rolleri ile büyük çapta begeni topladi. Bunlarin disinda, Sezen Aksu ve Müjde Ar ile ayri ayri sahne sovlari yapti.
